Applications and Enrolments

The Institute conducts a wide range of accredited courses and fee-for-service activity. Some accredited courses are subject to VTAC selection guidelines. You need to check course information for these details.

Applications for entry into courses

VTAC Courses

VTAC information booklets are currently available. VTAC can be contacted on 1902 241 114 OR www.vtac.edu.au for further details.

Direct Entry Courses

Expressions of interest can be lodged with the Institute for those courses that are not in VTAC at any time of the year. Direct entry into VTAC courses is not available until after first round offers are made in January.

Fee-for-Service - Short Courses

The Institute conducts a range of fee-for-service activities during the year. To enquire about enrolling in any course you can contact an enrolment officer at one of our campuses on 03 5833 2519, OR complete the enquiry form.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

People are able to gain credits for subjects in recognition of the skills people have obtained through work, voluntary positions and life in general. The Institute has RPL assessors who can assist you to gain formal qualifications. To gain RPL:

Decide what qualification you would like to gain
Contact the Institute to obtain an RPL kit for the qualification you would like to gain
Work through the competencies in the RPL kit to see which competencies you feel you could obtain with your previously acquired skills
Gather your evidence for the competencies for which you would feel you can gain RPL
Make an appointment for an RPL assessment
