Innoven Food
The Innoven Food Industry Centre is a Victorian Government designated specialist centre for food processing in Victoria. This $3.5 million Centre is the hub for the delivery and facilitation of training, education and support services to the Australian Food industry. It includes a pilot plant for research and simulated training in a factory environment.
With around 4,000 business establishments and a turnover of around $47 billion the food and beverage industry is the largest manufacturing sector in Australia. It employs around 170,000 people in a range of areas from food production and harvesting; food processing and manufacturing; fresh foods; market research and product development; packaging and handling; and distribution and retailing.
Programs that can be delivered include:

- Food processing
- Food hygiene and safety
- OH&S
- Leadership
- Logistics and Systems
- Training and Assessment
Specialist expertise can be sourced for additional delivery if required.
